So... uhm... what position is that again?

Let’s talk about positions and formations (yes, I giggled as I typed that sentence too!).  I know MOST of us girls watch that all too important football game (we know all of the matches are important boys!) with our significant other only because secretly we’re in love with the player on the opposing side.  Eyes start rolling because we would ask “What’s his name again? Yes, the one that kicked the ball, the hot one?”

The local football season is nearly at a close and the European championships has just begun and AFCON is right on our doorsteps, an exciting season of the worlds greatest sport - opinions might differ about this little statement - is indeed ahead.  I have dedicated my blog to the education of football to all those who wish to learn, especially girls who have been labelled "she's only trying to impress a guy".  Well, with this, impress away!  You will learn to love the most watched and played sport in the world., and you will sound knowledgeable and enthused doing so. There will be times that I may stray to other sporting codes, but my heart remains on the fields where dreams are made.  Do keep in mind that I am AC Milan biased, so do excuse the few rantings and ravings that might come after a game.  Whether those rants and raves are good will depend if the Rossoneri win or lose.
